Gallery: Boys Varsity Soccer Falls to Olathe East 1-0

Before the game, SM East soccer families and fans celebrated all 14 seniors on varsity soccer and the two senior managers. Each senior was walked across the field by family to be recognized. As each player walked across, fans heard about his favorite soccer memory, inspirational people in his life, and plans after high school. Cheerleaders and Lancer Dancers lined up to cheer on the player and family as they walked. After the ceremony, the Lancers took on Olathe East. With a few minutes left in the first half, Olathe East scored the first goal of the game. Neither team scored in the rest of the first half, or any of the second half. The Lancers fell to Olathe East 1-0.
