Gallery: Boys Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Waukee 18-4

With less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter, the boys varsity Lancer Lacrosse team was up 12 points against the Waukee Warriors and had a running clock due to mercy rule. The Lancers scored three goals in five minutes, and in just the first quarter, the Lancers led 5-0 and only allowed the Warriors one goal in the first half, resulting in a halftime score of 9-1. Sophomore Mark Mallory scored the first goal of the second half assisted by junior Ben Bagby. The Warriors scored a second goal in the third quarter, but the Lancers scored four more to make the score 13-2. The final score was 18-4. 

The next varsity Lancer Lacrosse game is on Tuesday, April 7 vs. Mill Valley High School at 8:30 p.m.
