Gallery: Boys Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Pembroke Hill 14-11

The boys varsity lacrosse team played their last regular season game on May 1 against Pembroke Hill at SM East at 6 p.m. The game kicked off with freshman Teddy Long winning the face-off and scoring within the first few minutes, followed quickly by two raider goals. The Raiders then won the face-off. Freshman Graham Wilkinson repossessed the ball and scored after passing the ball back and forth with junior Henry Smith. This was followed by two Raider goals and three more lancer goals. The first quarter ended with the Lancers down 6-5 after two more Raider goals. The Raiders won the possession and quickly scored. Smith scored again to end the half, Lancers down 7-6. The second half started off with a goal from Long and Mallory. The Raiders won the face-off after Mallory’s goal and scored their 9th goal, followed by the 10th Lancers goal from senior Henry Saylor. This ended the third quarter with the Lancers up 10-9. The final quarter started with sophomore Thomas Vanice scoring, then a Raider goal. The game ended with three more Lancer goals, the Lancers won 14-11.

The boys varsity lacrosse team has its next game on Thursday, May 7 against Mill Valley. The time and location are to be determined.
