Gallery: Boys Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Northland 10-3

The boys varsity lacrosse defeated Northland 10-3 in their third game of the season on Friday, March 25. East took an early lead with two goals from junior Will Feagans. Senior Michael Scott scored a goal with 4 seconds left in the first quarter, going into the second quarter ahead 3-0. At half, the Lancers were up 6-1 after goals from seniors Max Holzbeierlein and Micheal Scott. Holding onto their lead in the second half, the Lancers continued to score goal after goal. Never losing their lead, the Lancers defeated Northland 10-3 at the final whistle. Senior Max Holzbeierlein led the team in scoring with 5 goals. The boys varsity lacrosse record is now 3-0 in the LAKC league.

The Lancers’ next game will be played on Thursday, March 31 against rival Rockhurst HS. The game is at 7 p.m. at Westridge Middle School.

In the little free time Riley has, the chances are she is buying candles, teaching her dog new tricks in German or signing herself up for new, time consuming, activities. »

Senior Tristen Porter is going into her third year on staff as a photographer. Tristen is so excited to finish her years off strong and can’t wait to see what the year has in store. Tristen loves capturing moments for people to reminisce on for years to come.
