Gallery: Boys Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Bishop Miege 31-0 on Senior Night

17 seniors were celebrated on Thursday, April 9 at the boys lacrosse senior night. Going in with a record of 3-1, the game kicked off with a goal from sophomore Mark Mallory in the first minutes of the game which was shortly followed by a goal from junior Ben Bagby. The first quarter ended with the Lancers up 14-0, ending with two goals from captain and senior, Henry Saylor. The second quarter began quickly with a goal from senior Barrett Tegtmeier, keeping their possession of the ball. The half ended with a goal from senior Bo Wiklund, the Lancers kept their lead 22-0. senior Jack Hardinger started the second quarter off with a goal, as well as senior Henry Zwillenberg scoring twice in a row with an assist from freshman Graham Wilkinson. Zwillenberg was the second highest scorer of the game with three goals, after senior Henry Saylor and junior Ben Bagby with four. The Lancers kept their lead and ended the third quarter 27-0. The final quarter started off with senior goalie Tyler Beveridge playing in the field scoring after taking over possession from Bishop Meige, quickly followed by a goal from senior Eric Schlote to end the game. The final score was 31-0.

The next varsity SM East boys lacrosse game is on Thursday, April 16 vs. Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School at 5:30 p.m at Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School.
