Gallery: Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Lawrence

On Tuesday, January 30 the SME boys varsity basketball team took on Lawrence High School. The Lancers fought hard in a very close game, and were down 18-20 at halftime. At halftime, the Lancer Dancers performed their lyrical piece and celebrated the seniors for senior night. KU basketball player Devonte Graham came to show his support for Lawrence High School. The Lancers were able to come back second half and win the game with a final score of 48-43.

Katherine McGinness is a senior in her third year on staff. She is the one of the head photo mentors on staff. She is also a Link Leader at East and is involved in different clubs. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family as well as doing music. »

Aislinn Menke

Aislinn Menke
Aislinn Menke is a junior at Shawnee Mission East and is on the staff for photography for the Harbinger. This will be her second year on staff. Aislinn also does track for SME, enjoys taking art classes, and exploring coffee shops downtown in her free time. »

Kate Nixon

Kate Nixon
Kate Nixon is a senior going into her third year on staff. This year, she is a co-head photo editor and involved in swim, Freelancer, Coalition, and Share. Outside of school, she enjoys working with animals, volunteering, and napping. »
