Gallery: Boys Varsity Basketball Defeats Olathe East 76-64

Before tip-off at the boys varsity basketball game vs. Olathe East, the Indian Hills Middle School boys basketball team joined the Lancers on the court during the National Anthem for Future Lancer Night on Tuesday, Feb. 6. After the first quarter, the Lancers were up 21-14, leading 35-27 by half. The Lancer Dancers performed the halftime entertainment before SM East Cheer honored their seniors with flowers for Senior Night. The Lancers went into the fourth quarter up 58-39. Olathe East outscored the Lancers by 7 points in the fourth quarter but SM East defeated Olathe East 76-64. Senior Teddy Saylor was the lead scorer with 29 points.

The next boys varsity basketball game will be on Friday, Feb. 9 against Mill Valley High School at 7 p.m. at Mill Valley High School.

Starting her third year on the Harbinger staff, junior Molly Miller is thrilled to get started as a photo mentor! In Molly’s free time you can find her playing soccer or tennis for high school or club teams and volunteering for an organization known as NCL. You can also find her listening to Taylor Swift (specifically Folklore) or hanging out with her friends! »
