Maintaining a lead the whole game, the boys varsity baseball team defeated Rockhurst High School 7-5 on Tuesday, April 25. They played at Rockhurst high school with many East students in attendance to watch another Rockhurst vs. East rivalry game. Senior Jack Laird pitched 6 innings, contributing to the Lancers victory. Their next game was on Tuesday, April 29 against Blue Valley West, which they ended up winning. The varsity team plays again on May 2 against Olathe South at the Olathe District Activity Center.
