Gallery: Boys Soccer Defeat Blue Valley Southwest 3-2 to win Kamo Tournament

Even through the rain and slick turf, the boys varsity soccer team defeated Blue Valley Southwest 3-2 on Saturday, September 10. This was the varsity soccer teams third and final game, giving them their first Kamo championship win since 2016. In the first 10 minutes of the game, Senior Jack Lucas scored the first goal. While senior Miles Crosser scores a goal, making the score 2-1, the BV South team was catching up with only 17 minutes left in the first half. During the second half of the game the score was tied 2-2 with only 20 minutes left, Junior Alex Flower scored the last goal making the boys varsity soccer team the champions of the season.

The Lancer’s next match will be played on Sept 13 against Shawnee Mission Northwest at the Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.

During school hours, Kate is taking AP classes, playing tennis, being social media coordinator for the Freelancer, being a chair for Unified Teams, and playing varsity lacrosse. »
