Gallery: Boys Lacrosse Tryouts

The Boys Lacrosse tryouts were held from Feb. 20-23 at Westridge Middle School. There is a JV and Varsity team consisting of 58 total players. There are 27 varsity players and 31 JV players. The season opener is Friday, March 3 at 7 p.m. “The guys are ready and are working as hard as they can to get their hands on a trophy,” said varsity Offensive Coordinate Peter Hefferon, heading into his 4th season as a coach. After graduating 26 seniors and losing in the state championship the last two years, he says the team will have to work extra hard this season.

Heading into her final year on Harbinger as a staff photographer, senior Audrey Condon is so excited to see what the year has in store. When she's not spending every waking hour shooting a sports event or desperately finding names for a caption, she can be found nannying, working out, or front row at the Lancer sports games. Within the walls of East, Audrey juggles AP classes, Varsity Softball, Link Crew, NHS, and Pep Exec duties. Paige is going into her second semester on staff as the head of TikTok & Twitter, a photo mentor, staff videographer, a contest coordinator, and more. When she’s not busy with Harbinger, she is involved as sophomore class president, an East Fund ambassador, a SHARE chair, and working to make East more environmentally friendly independently and with the SME Environmental Club. She is working on her own to have electric carports installed and fundraising by hosting events such as her original fashion show in the fall of 2023. »
