Gallery: Boys Lacrosse Tryouts

The Boys Lacrosse tryouts were held from Feb. 20-23 at Westridge Middle School. There is a JV and Varsity team consisting of 58 total players. There are 27 varsity players and 31 JV players. The season opener is Friday, March 3 at 7 p.m. “The guys are ready and are working as hard as they can to get their hands on a trophy,” said varsity Offensive Coordinate Peter Hefferon, heading into his 4th season as a coach. After graduating 26 seniors and losing in the state championship the last two years, he says the team will have to work extra hard this season.

When she's not spending every waking hour shooting a sports event or desperately finding names for a caption, she can be found nannying, working out, or front row at the Lancer sports games. Entering her fourth semester on the Harbinger staff as Co-Assistant Photo Editor, Multimedia Staffer and a Social Media Staffer, junior Paige Bean is more than ready for this year. Outside of Harbinger she is the student body vice president, a SHARE chair, East Fund Ambassador, and many more things. Outside of her APs, IBs and extracurriculars, you’ll probably catch Bean at work, with her friends, or working on her latest film project. »
