After a postponed game due to inclement weather, the boys junior varsity Lancer Lacrosse team was prepared to face off against the Rockhurst Hawklets on Monday, April 28. The Hawklets scored the first goal of the game in the first quarter, which was the only one scored in that quarter. In the first possession of the second quarter, the Hawklets scored to make the score 2-0, and shortly after scored again. Their lead continued into the third quarter with another goal. The leading and only scorer for the Lancers was sophomore Hampton Boyd in the fourth quarter. The final score was 6-1.
Their record is now 8-1.
The boys junior varsity lacrosse team’s next game is on Friday, May 1 against Pembroke Hill at 5:30 p.m. at Shawnee Mission Athletic Complex.
