Gallery: Boys JV Basketball falls to rival Shawnee Mission South 56-61

On Tuesday, the boys JV team was beaten by rival Shawnee Mission South giving East their 3rd loss of the season to make their record 5-3 on the season. It was a very tight game that came down to the last couple minutes of play to make the deciding factor in which team would come out victorious. The JV team is coached by physical ed teacher, and head coach Shawn Hair’s brother, Brendan Hair. The boys next game will be the Sweetheart game on Friday, February 5th against Shawnee Mission West.

As her third year on staff, senior Megan Biles is very excited for her last year on this marvelous publication. She is starting her second year as Photo Mentor and her first year as Mobile Media Photo editor. At East, Megan is also involved in STUCO, Student Store, DECA, Track and Field, and is a Pep Exec. Outside of school you can find Megan hanging out with her friends, taking Zumba classes at the local Y, and baking some delicious muffins for her business, Megan’s Munchies. In these very different times Megan is trying to make the most of her Senior year. »
