The SM East Lancers hosted the SM North Bison for two freshman team games on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7 P.M. The Freshman “A” Team played at 5:30 p.m., while Freshman “B” Team played at 7 p.m., with both games resulting in a win for the Lancers. For the duration of the first quarter, the Lancers held the Bison to 4 points while scoring 15, giving them an 11 point lead to start the second quarter. To end the half, the Lancers kept their lead with a score of 29-13. The game continued to go back and forth, with both teams shooting multiple free throws due to shooting fouls. The end score was 52-22 with a Lancers defeat.
The Lancers will play their next game against Olathe South on Jan. 13 at Olathe South High School at 5:30 p.m.
