Gallery: Boys Freshman A Basketball Defeats Rockhurst 48-46

On Saturday, December 19th, the Freshman Boys A-team defeated Rockhurst 48-46 at Rockhurst High School. The score went back and forth the whole game, with each team leading by only a few points at a time. By halftime, Lancers were down 22-24. Near the end of the fourth quarter, Lancers found themselves down by 9 points. The only way to come back was to turn up the intensity and put pressure on the other team, which is exactly what they did. The team started hitting three-pointers and tied the game up with one minute left. Freshman Joey Hoffman made a layup, ending the game at 48-46.

The team’s next game is against Shawnee Mission Northwest at SMNW at 5:15. This is their last game before winter break.

Good luck finding her! In any spare time she has, there is a good chance she’s watching the sunset while listening to Taylor Swift, Celsius in hand. »
