Gallery: Boys Blue and Black Soccer Scrimmage

Boys blue and black soccer teams kicked off their season with their annual soccer scrimmage and canned food drive on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd. All teams, including varsity and JV, were able to collect over 100 cans to donate to families in need. The score was not kept at the scrimmage.

The Black team played their first game Friday, Aug. 26 against SM West, winning 6-0. Their next game will be played Monday, Sep. 12 against SM Northwest at Indian Hills Middle School at 5 p.m.

The Blue team is scheduled to play their first game Wednesday, Aug. 31 against Blue Valley North at IHMS at 5 p.m.

Junior Amelie Wong is beyond excited for her second year on staff, this time as an assistant photo editor! You will most likely find Amelie sitting at her computer that’s about to crash from trying to upload and edit photos at the same time. Sophomore Madi Maupin is starting her first semester with The Harbinger as a photographer and artist. Along with The Harbinger, Madi is involved with STUCO, soccer and is the boys JV soccer manager. In Madi’s free time she enjoys being with her friends and family, playing soccer, going to the lake, driving around with her friends, and working. Madi is so excited for this upcoming semester and the new experiences and memories Madi will create. »
