Gallery: Boys and Girls XC Sunflower League

The Varsity and JV cross country teams ran in the Sunflower League meet on Saturday, October 17th, in a special meet that was raced at night. The boys’ varsity placed 7th and the girls’ varsity placed 3rd. The course was a 5k and was spread out across the entire Olathe District Athletic Complex. The next meet for both varsity teams will be Regionals on Saturday, October 24th, at Shawnee Mission Park.  The girls will race at 9 am and the boys will follow at 9:35.

Megan Biles
As her third year on staff, senior Megan Biles is very excited for her last year on this marvelous publication. She is starting her second year as Photo Mentor and her first year as Mobile Media Photo editor. At East, Megan is also involved in STUCO, Student Store, DECA, Track and Field, and is a Pep Exec. Outside of school you can find Megan hanging out with her friends, taking Zumba classes at the local Y, and baking some delicious muffins for her business, Megan’s Munchies. In these very different times Megan is trying to make the most of her Senior year. »

Sophomore Eva Berkley is about to start her first year as a staff photographer. When Berkley is not taking action shots of her classmates you can find her in the SME gym playing volleyball, on the field playing lacrosse, doing charity work with The National Charity League, and hanging out with her friends. Berkley is super excited to be a part of the family and can not wait to be with everyone in the J room. »

Going into her senior year as a Photo Editor, Rachel cannot be more excited for her final year on Harbinger. When she’s not taking pictures on the sidelines at a game or scrambling for a photostory design, you may find her playing volleyball, throwing in track, at a SHARE project or going on a QuikTrip ice cream run with friends. »
