Gallery: Biology Club

Juniors in Mrs. Davis’ AP Biology class, Avery Anderson, Maggie Wells and Caroline Martucci, held their first Biology Club meeting after school on Wednesday, Jan. 17 in room 328. The club, sponsored by Mrs. Davis, existed before it came to an end in 2020 due to COVID-19. The three juniors brought the club back to life to “combine being with friends with learning”, says Maggie Wells, “We just all really love AP Biology. I’ve always loved the class, I even enjoyed Honors Biology when I took it freshman year”. While they didn’t expect a high turnout on the club’s first day, they had advertised it enough through their hallway posters for 9 students to show up, ready for what they had prepared. The club’s leaders presented an opening informational slideshow, handed out snacks, and led the club in a “Genetics Bingo” game.

Biology club will be held in room 328 after school every other Wednesday for the rest of the school year.
