Avery Walker

Avery Walker is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and has been on staff for one year. He is the Video Editor. When he isn’t making videos for The Harbinger you can find him working and hanging out with friends. He is excited to improve his skills as a staffer this year and learn as much about journalism as possible. »

Ian Schutt

Ian Schutt is a senior at SME and this is his first year in staff as a multimedia team member and an anchor. Outside of Harbie you can find Ian on the soccer field, playing lots of Star Wars video games, and hanging out with his friends. He is super excited to help shoot some awesome videos and make lots of new friends on staff. Sko’ ‘Cers!! »

Robbie Veglahn

Robbie Veglahn is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and the co-Editor-in-Chief of The Harbinger. As much as he loves getting into heated arguments with Reser or singing Les Mis on deadline, there’s nothing he loves more than helping staffers grow. Outside of the J-room, he’s the captain of the lacrosse team and a member of the Chamber Choir. This is his third year on staff. »

Elias Lowland

Elias Lowland is a senior at Shawnee Mission East and the Print Sports Section Editor as well as a Staff Designer and Writer. Outside of Harbinger, he is a four-time state champion swimmer and involved in the Diversity Club. He hopes to lead the sports section to improvements each issue of this upcoming year. »
