East Choirs Earn Highest Ratings at State Contest

Yesterday, several of East’s choirs performed at the State Large Ensemble Contest, all going on to earn scores of one, the highest rating offered. The Choraliers, Chansonettes (women’s choir) and Varsity Choir (men’s choir) performed a total of seven songs in front of three judges. Judges rank singers and groups based on their intonation, tone and dynamics, starting with one as the highest score and three as the lowest. This year, each choir who competed came back with a score of one.
