Emma: STRIPED SPRING SHORTS
It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve blogged!
That’s probably because it has been forever since I’ve blogged.
Third quarter was a crazy mess of homework, illness, a trip to Germany (stay tuned for a post with photos!) and more. But now it’s springtime, and I’m ready to relax. I’m also ready to not be freezing cold every time I leave the house (thanks, Kansas).
I am in loooooove with these new shorts. They’re chic, classic, and so comfy. I’m of course obsessed with stripes, so these are perfect!
I honestly feel like I’d be lost in the fashion world without this jacket. It has been my go-to ever since I purchased it and I couldn’t be happier! I love to accent it with this fabric flower pin from J.Crew. It gives the simple jacket extra flair!
These shorts are even more gorgeous up-close. As for jewelry, I wore my simple Tiffany ring that hardly ever leaves my hand.

My favorite perfume to wear in the spring is Tory Burch. The rich floral smell of peony and citrus makes this scent perfect for this time of year.

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is perfect when you need just a little bit of coverage.
Purity by Philosophy is my favorite facial cleanser at the moment. It is gentle on your face and has a great scent.
I usually don’t buy expensive lip products because I don’t think they look any different than the typical drug store kind but I love YSL Rouge Volupte. It is super creamy and adds a good pop of color.
Finally to take it all off I use the Burt’s Bees pink grapefruit facial cleansing towelettes. I love these because they aren’t rough on your skin and take off most of your makeup in one wipe. They also smell like sweet grapefruit.
