DECA Recap

Shawnee Mission East DECA participated in the annual Kansas State Competition on March 4th, 5th and 6th. East had a school record with 143 members participating at state and will be sending 38 people to the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, GA. Along with the 38 qualifiers, the Lancers had two students, Hannah Phillips and Hallie Higgason, who ran and were elected as 2018 DECA state officers.
