Community America Headed to East: Money Trivia Game during seminar tomorrow in the auditorium, for all seniors

Community America Credit Union is hosting an SME Money Trivia Game during seminar tomorrow in the auditorium, beginning at 9:30 a.m. for all seniors.

Giving away a total of $500 with up to 50 winners, the Life Skills money trivia game was created as an easy way to prepare students with financial literacy education, according to Chief Innovation Officer and East parent, Anita Newton. The game has been played with over 500 Kansas University business undergraduates, with only 1% of them answering every question correctly.

After working with students to understand the best way to get teenagers to learn the basics of financial literacy, the game seemed to be the perfect opportunity for seniors to become better-versed in personal finances before entering the college world, according to Newton.
