On April 27 the US Department of Defense released three videos containing unidentified aircrafts captured by the Navy.
There are rumors all over the media about recent sightings, but not all are said to be true.
The videos of unclassified aircrafts are from the past several years. According to CNN, there were sightings in 2004 off the Southern California coast and 2015 by the Atlantic Coast by F-18 pilots. It’s unknown how many other sightings were reported in private meetings.
According to CBS, these videos were leaked years ago after the Pentagon officially released them to clear up any misconceptions about whether the footage was real — and it is.
People around the world are hoping the recently released videos encourage more information to come out about UFOs. Experts claim that usually there are earthly explanations for these kinds of sightings, and aliens aren’t for sure involved.
Thorough reviews conducted by experts of the released videos determine that they “don’t reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems.” As of right now, the videos don’t mean much — but future research may release different findings.
