Breaking News: SMSD to let out for summer vacation on May 19th for K-11 students.

SMSD adjusted the ending of their 2021-2022 school year from the initial May 24 to May 19 with an early dismissal for K-11 students and May 18 for Pre-K students.

According to an email sent to parents by Superintendent Dr. Michelle Hubbard, SMSD did not use all of the inclement weather days built into their calendar, allowing for them to move the end date of the school year earlier. 

The finals schedule for high schoolers will be shifted but has yet to be released to students yet.
