Breaking News: Senior Sunrise rescheduled due to weather

The Senior Sunrise tradition, planned by the senior StuCo officers, has been postponed from Friday, May 6 to Monday, May 9.

The senior officers received a text from their sponsor, APUSH teacher Jennifer Jordan, regarding her concern for the weather Friday morning — 52º Fahrenheit with a 40% chance of rain. The officers decided alongside Jordan to postpone the sunrise watching to Monday morning.

The high Monday will be 89º Fahrenheit with a 6% chance of rain. The sun is set to rise at 6:10 a.m., and senior students are to report to the football field between 5:45 a.m. and leave before school begins at 7:40 a.m. The StuCo officers along with Jordan have organized for Chick-Fil-A to cater and donuts will be provided along with a selection of drinks.
