Breaking News: Indian Hills Middle School students walk out in protest of ICE

Approximately 200 Indian Hills Middle School students participated in a walkout to protest the activity and policies of Immigration and Customs Enforcement today. Students gathered in the auxiliary gym at 2:07 p.m. during the passing period between fifth and seventh hour. They walked onto the soccer field at 2:20 p.m., and the protesting lasted 40 minutes.

Indian Hills administrators and Student Resource Officers monitored the walkout to ensure that no one got hurt; however, administration and staff remained neutral. The students chanted “ICE out” and held up signs reading “Fight ignorance, not immigrants,” “ICE melts,” “we’re skipping our lessons to teach you one” and more.

Students remained primarily behind the 40-yard line on the west side of the field, as there were a few students on the opposite side of the field counter-protesting, according to eighth grader Sasha Paddock.

Paddock was told by a friend about the initial walkout plans made in a group chat of about 100 students. She worked to organize it by contacting counselors and speaking with Indian Hills principal, Dr. Kelley Capper.

“A lot of people think that middle schoolers don't know what's going [on] around in the world,” Paddock said. “To have a protest on this level [shows] people who think that no one's listening to them, [that] people are actually listening to them, even the middle schoolers.”

Paddock has been following national news recently and heard of protests occurring at schools in the surrounding area. She believes the protest went well and had a better turnout than expected.

“I thought it was gonna end after 30 minutes, but we went through the whole sixth period,” Paddock said. “I was really proud of us. Indian Hills really showed up.”

Love is not as easy as people make it look like and in love commitment is key, commitment reveals who is true and who is not, I fell in love with the wrong one who was not committed, who did not to sacrifice for what we had, I was lied to and played on, I was seeing the signs but was not sure what it was until my sister told me about Mac and his team (macprivateinvestigators @ gmail .com) who helped expose my husband and all his secrets on how he was involved with other women, the evidence provided made the divorce case easy for me, now I feel free.

I was scared to try spell because of what I heard about spell, but I still gave it a try and let Chief Ade do what he knows how to do best. Chief Ade put in work after I provided all the necessary materials needed for the work, he gave me the lottery numbers the next day and instructed me on how to play which I did, I won the 65 MILLION LOTTO MAX jackpot the next day and I was so happy to announce to my wife and children about my wins, I'm Mark Hanley of Newmarket, Ontario. I'm sharing my great experience to you all who are finding it difficult to win the lottery, reach out to Chief Ade on chiefadespellhome@gmail.com OR WhatsApp +234 901 380 6328 you will never regret contacting Chief Ade
