Reactions from the court:

“Sophomore George Hartman came into my room and flipped on the lights and I screamed. I was scared of the light, but I was so surprised and happy. My brother also got nominated, and I was so happy we both are a part of it. My mom cried when she found out, which was super sweet. I just feel so honored and so happy for everyone!”
Macy Crosser

“I was woken up this morning by a group of junior girls, and they used party horns, turned on my lights and told me I was on Homecoming court. They also put streamers on my car. I was super excited and surprised.”
Kate Cronenwett

“This morning around 6:15 I got woken up by sophomore Connor Vogel and two other freshmen… [They] came in [my room] with an air horn and party horns, blasting Homecoming by Kanye West and threw confetti, so it was super alarming, but also exciting for sure. I was so confused, but I could hear my mom cheering. I genuinely was not expecting me to be on Hoco court, but I was obviously super happy.”
