BREAKING: Lancer Day Parade, football game confirmed to carry on as scheduled

The Lancer Day Parade will carry on as scheduled today at 1:30 p.m., according to Athletic Director Debbie Katzfey. The football game tonight vs. Lawrence at SM North Stadium will also follow plans to begin at 7 p.m. And the soccer tournament will be rescheduled to take place tomorrow, details to be determined.

The Harbinger will also be broadcasting tonight’s football game with full commentation and coverage for those who can’t make it to the game.

The game will be delayed if a western storm cell overtakes the area — which is a possibility noted in emails sent from administration to students this week — but as of right now there are no plans to cancel, Katzfey said.
