Boys Freshman B Basketball Defeats SM South 60-39

During their final game of the season, the SM East boys freshman B team defeated the SM South Raiders 60-39. The Raiders won the tipoff to start the game, but the Lancers soon took the lead and finished the first quarter 16-8. The Lancers kept their lead, ending the second quarter 32-16. The Lancers started off the third quarter with freshman Tommy Burgess scoring a layup. As the quarter progressed the Lancers continued to battle as the Raiders kept putting up points, and were able to keep their lead, ending the third quarter with a score of 43-30. The Lancers held the Raiders to nine points in the fourth quarter and ended the game 60-39.
