Why did you start lacrosse?

“I started lacrosse when I was in the fifth grade because I had a neighbor that was super into it, and I always thought that it was super cool so I tried it and have played ever since.”

What makes you love lacrosse so much?

“It’s such a different game and it takes a lot of IQ to play which makes it super fun.”

What impact does having this game be a playoff game make?

“I think it for sure brings a lot of confidence to everyone’s game and getting a big win in the playoffs creates tons of confidence for the next game.”

What goals are you setting for the next playoff game against former East coach Dan Leff?

“I definitely want to beat him. What I’ve heard is that he’s said a lot of things about our team that may not be true and talked smack online, so I really want to beat him.”

Coming into the season what were your biggest goals?

“Playing a lot on varsity. Because obviously last year with all the seniors, a lot of the juniors didn’t really get that much playing time. So I kind of expected us to play a lot and that’s what I was really looking forward to.”

What type of relationships have you been able to create through lacrosse?

“Some of my best friends are on the team. So that’s a large part of it from lacrosse too, you’re spending a lot of your week with all these players who you really bring or make tight bonds.”
