“I did this piece last year when I was doing a lot of watercolor paintings. I really like the dripping in watercolor because that’s something it does really well and it can also be very expressive. Mainly, for what I use watercolor is to get drips and expressive lines and a mixture of colors. Even when you apply it to an expressionless face like this, it turns it into something that has emotion.”
