“I took a digital image and I uploaded it into a sound image editing program that would literally turn it into a sound wave you could listen to if you saved it as an MP3. Then I saved it as a photo, again not thinking anything would happen, but it turned out really distorted with wild colors and pixelated. I thought the process was interesting because I didn’t even know it was possible to turn an image into any other form of data. Just using the code that was present in the digital image turns into a sound. I just thought thats really cool.”
