Breaking News: Can Drive Update

Today the winners of the fourth hour Mac n Cheese drive were announced. Mrs. Meschke’s fourth hour class took first place, bringing in more than 200 boxes of Mac n Cheese, which equals about 10 boxes per student. In second place was Ms. Miller’s class with 6.64 boxes per student and in third is Mr. Foleys class with 6.5 boxes per student.

Mrs. Meschke’s winning class will receive a lunch courtesy of Student Council, as well as a special prize for Mrs. Meschke. Although Mr. Foley and Ms. Miller’s classes won’t be getting a lunch, they will be receiving a special treat from Student Council for coming in second and third.

This weeks competition is for fifth hours to collect canned fruit. The donations are all for the Johnson County Christmas Bureau whose mission is to provide warmth and sustenance to low income Johnson County, Kansas families during the cold winter holiday season.”
