Gallery: Varsity/JV Baseball Practice

The baseball team starts out practice a little different than others by meditating. Gathered in a circle around a coach, the players sit criss-crossed and with their eyes closed, do breathing exercises and relax. They're told to listen to their surroundings as their coach tells a story that relates to baseball. The players then crowd around the coach, do a quick chant, and get to work. The infield and outfield worked on picking off runners while the pitchers worked by themselves. The practice took place Tuesday, March 20th and their first game is Tuesday, March 27th.
