As the year winds down, I’ve been looking forward to summer outfit staples. One of my go-to looks for a nicer occasion has been a crop top and a skirt: the perfect look when you’re not quite willing to commit to a dress. This look has been my favorite for this year’s formal dances, but it’s also the perfect concert, brunch and shopping look.

The white-on-white look is an all-time favorite look of mine. Although it may seem daunting, it photographs incredibly well and catches everyone’s eyes. I am constantly gravitating toward this look, because I’m not the biggest fan of an extremely girly-girl look, and a crop top seems to add the perfect amount of edge. I found a few other affordable crop tops from Zara that I am absolutely swooning over here, here and here. Pair the tops with high-waisted vintage Levi’s or a skirt, and a pair of sandals, and you’re set!
