Robotics Team To Compete in First Competition

FIRST is an annual competition where East’s team of 25 students competes against other robotics teams in the area. They will be able to show the abilities of their own design while also qualifying for over twenty million dollars worth of scholarships. The purpose of the competition is so that students will learn sophisticated and useful engineering. The program is meant to further students’ knowledge of science, mathematics and software.

The team and their blue robot will be competing for all of the month of March. The robot is now able to move around and also pick up and grasp items. They recently completed their robot just in time for competition.
