STUCO’s spirit week will begin Feb. 6 with a different theme each day leading up to the Sweetheart Dance — called “Queen of Hearts” — on Feb. 11 from 8-10 p.m.
Monday is “Roll Out of Bed” Monday. Stay comfy and roll into school in your best pajamas, slippers and loungewear.
Next up is “Rep Your Wrapped” Tuesday. Inspired by Spotify Wrapped, pull out your favorite concert or band merchandise to show off your music taste.
On Wednesday, it’s “College Rivalry” day. Wear your favorite local college gear, whether it’s KU, K-State or Mizzou. Time for yet another Sunflower State showdown.
For Thursday, come prepared for a hunt — a jaguar hunt. Show your support for our basketball teams in their games against Mill Valley this week by decking out in camouflage. Girls Varsity plays at 5:30 p.m. and boys Varsity plays at 7:00 p.m.
Finish off spirit week strong on Friday by celebrating your local spirit. Initially, students were told to dress in East gear, but with the Kansas City Chiefs heading to the Super Bowl that Sunday, students are encouraged to wear Lancer blue or Chiefs gear.
