The Shawnee Mission Board of Education announced the three finalists this morning who are in the running for SMSD’s superintendent position: Dr. Michael Fulton, Mr. Michael Muñoz, and Dr. Blane McCann.
Meet and greet sessions will be held for each candidate on Saturday at the Center for Academic Achievement board room. Each candidate’s session will consist of an introduction and a question and answer forum. Community members will be prompted to leave comments on Candidate Impression Forms that members of the SMSD school board will read. The board will then be interviewing the candidates a second time following the public sessions.
