Beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 5, Tyler Rathbun shirts will be sold on the South Ramp. The shirts are $10 each and will be available in every lunch until Thursday, Nov. 7. All proceeds will go to the Tyler Rathbun Memorial Fund
The Tyler Rathbun Memorial Fund was set up after an ATV accident took the life of Tyler Rathbun last November. The fund benefits youth soccer in various ways. Last year at graduation, the proceeds were used to create a scholarship in honor of Rathbun.
Junior Kendall Dunn has been organizing the sale of the shirts. She is hoping to have everyone wear the TR shirts on Monday, Nov. 25, the anniversary of Rathbun’s death.
“I want to wear my shirt because it’s good to remember someone and the legacy that they’ve left,” senior Frances Reavis said. “It’s a [reminder] to cherish each day.”
