The Parent Teacher Association is hosting the 51st Annual College Clinic this Wednesday, Oct. 16th at East. The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Over 200 colleges from around the United States will be represented throughout the school. The clinic allows students and parents to speak within a short time to a variety of colleges. Each school will have campus representatives or alumni available to provide information and answer questions concerning topics such as the application process, campus life and the quality of education of their respective colleges.
“I would encourage students to go to it. The college clinic is especially great because you’re going to learn about or have the opportunity to learn about schools that you wouldn’t normally hear about,” said Principal John McKinney. “This is a great thing to come to particularly if you are undecided or sort of on the fence, to just learn about all the different possibilities that are out there, and then you can make an educated choice.”
The entire event is free and the PTA encourages all to attend including freshman and seniors.
