The SM East orchestra will be hosting their annual Collage Concert on Tuesday, March 4. The concert will be played in the Dan Zollars Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. The concert is being held to support the East orchestra program. Adult tickets are $8 while seniors and students are $5. All orchestras, the philharmonic, chambers and symphonic, will be playing.
The orchestra students started preparing for the concert at the beginning of the second semester. They will be playing music from Tchaikovsky and Handel, to name a few.
“We also strongly encourage kids in elementary and middle school who are playing to come see what a high school orchestra is like,” senior Cicely Krebill, a member of the symphonic and chamber orchestra, said. “We do things to get them excited about sticking with their instrument.”
