An induction ceremony will be held on Monday, March 10 for the juniors who have been selected for the National Honors Society (NHS). There will be 84 students participating in the ceremony, which will start at 7 p.m. At the ceremony, those students will receive a certificate and pin from principal John McKinney. NHS co-presidents Grace Heitmann, Francis Reavis, Mary Kate Workman and Leah Pack will also speak at the event.
“I think it’s a great way for students to challenge themselves beyond just taking AP or IB classes,” principal John McKinney said. “I’m very glad that we have this program at East.”
