Next year’s principal John McKinney announced Dustin Delaney as the new football coach on Friday, May 17. Delaney is fresh off of a season at Emporia High School, where his team went 9-2 and won District, League and Regionals in the 2012 season.
Delaney, who graduated from Emporia State University, will be teaching weights and lifetime sports at East next year. He will have a meeting at 2:40 tonight to introduce himself to next year’s players.
