Not to freak you out, but Mother’s Day is this Sunday. If you’re anything like me and can’t remember holidays or birthdays to save your life, you’re going to need to make or order a gift ASAP.
To save you the trouble of scrolling through pages and pages of Pinterest or Amazon search results, I found a few pre-made and DIY gift ideas that your mom is sure to love.

Handmade Card
Nothing shows your mom that you care more than a card made just for her by her favorite child (wink wink). And no, I’m not talking about one of the second-grade ones with a handprint on the front.
All it takes is a few minutes, a piece of card stock and multi-colored markers to write a sweet message like “home is where your mom is.” If all goes well, your card will be up on the fridge next to your latest report card by the end of the day.
Personalized Photo Book
One of my mom’s favorite things to do is look back at old photos and reminisce on the days when I stumbled around in a diaper and Sesame Street was my favorite TV show. To make taking a trip down memory lane easier, create a photo book so all of your mom’s favorite memories will be in the same place. Upload photos from your camera roll to a website like Shutterfly and it’ll do most of the work for you.

Bath Bombs
After all that your mom’s done for you, she deserves to be pampered with a relaxing spa day. She can pretend her bathtub’s a luxury spa with the help of a bath bomb. With the nearest Lush being hundreds of miles away, Amazon is the perfect place to get your bath bomb fix. I found a set of five bath bombs for $4 each — much preferred to forking over twice that amount for one from Lush.
Necklace
If your mom’s jewelry collection needs an update, consider getting her this necklace from Etsy. It’s dainty size ensures that it’ll match just about everything she pairs it with. Plus, there’s three colors — silver, gold and rose gold — and multiple lengths to choose from so you can pick the perfect combination for her. She’s bound to think of you every time she reads the word “mama” and clasps it into place.
