SM East defeated Olathe North 30-7 for the first time since 1988. The Lancers controlled the tempo on offense, with quarterback Jordan Darling being able to fully employ the team’s passing attack. On defense, the Stewart twins kept Olathe’s receivers locked down, forcing them to try running the ball against a Lancer line that allowed very few yards throughout the entire game. The Lancers proved their ability to compete on both sides of the ball, and look confident as they come off their first of four Olathe match-ups with a solid 2-0 record. They play next on the road against Olathe Northwest.
