Kansas Senate Bill 350: Graduated Increases in State Aid per Pupil

What is means and how it can impact you:
If passed this bill could potentially raise the amount of state aid given to each student per year. At the end of any year, if the amount of general fund receipts for that year exceed the number of receipts for the previous year, then the amount of state aid per pupil will be increased. This bill could increase the funds that are used on each student if the fiscal year has been a success. The current projection for amount spent per pupil for the year 2012-2013 is $3,846.75.
