Kept Mess

Brian Rogers and Joe Newman met in first grade and went nine years without ever being friends. Then they decided, “Hey, Lets be friends.” and started playing music together. One day these two gentlemen were walking down the streets of CPT, when they were jumped by a band of gypsies. Then a dinosaur attacked them. Local blacksmith Connor Creighton saw the attack and quickly found a bass and started playing every bootsy collins song ever written at once. The dinosaur fled the scene in fear of bootsy. Joe and Brian asked this mysterious man to play bass in their new musical project. he accepted and they were best friends. Word up. Its all in a days work when you’re trying to get this mess kept.

The Harbinger is the exclusive student-run news program for Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, KS. Staffed by approximately 60 dedicated super-students and overseen by advisor C. Dow Tate, its online and print publications have won numerous national awards. The publication is updated with daily published content including stories, video, live broadcasts, photo galleries and multimedia packages. Select stories are published in its print publication every two weeks in addition.
