Ben Henschel
(bhenschel.com) Senior Ben Henschel only has a few weeks left on staff, but he's holding on to every minute. As the 2019-20 Kansas Student Journalist of the Year, and runner-up National Journalist of the Year, he designed the current Harbinger site and manages published stories, as well as writing in-depths, local news and op-eds. He also runs broadcasts with the team, taking point on anchoring most games. Henschel is also in charge of promoting published content on The Harbinger's social media platforms. »
Alex Dinyer
Senior Alex Dinyer is entering is second semester on Harbinger as Head Broadcast Editor, and Multimedia Staff. Outside of Harbinger you can catch Alex pounding drives for SME golf, singing in choir and competing in DECA events and bumping Still Woozy wherever he is at. »
Will Tulp
Will Tulp is the Harbinger's Online Editor-in-Chief this year. In his four years working for the publication, he has produced content for print, online and multimedia, winning awards at NSPA/JEA National Conventions and becoming a member of Quill and Scroll along the way. Outside of the Harbinger, Will is in IB, on the varsity soccer team and plays a few instruments. »
Dalton Reck
Dalton Reck is a senior in his second year of staff as the Head Video Editor. Aside from Harbinger, he plays tennis for Shawnee Mission East, works on cars, and plays guitar. He is excited to help staffers grow, and he is excited to improve his skills as a staffer this year and learn as much about journalism as possible. »
