The SM East Lancers defeated the SM West Vikings 5-1 in their season opener game Friday night. Maintaining a considerable lead throughout the game, the five goals came from seniors Eren Eksinar and Conor O’Toole, junior Jack Slaughter (two), and sophomore Caden Nicholson. “Based [on] how we played… I think that [we] will make our season one to watch because we’re here to win,” says varsity player and senior Carson Jones.
